News: 13th March - 20th March 2026
It has been an amazing week in school over the past two weeks. The children have all taken part in some super Science Week activities. The investigations were great. The children's work has been top-notch as always.
On Thursday 12th March children from the Lego League club represented the school under the name Powered by Biscuits. They had a great day exploring technology at RNAS Culdrose. The children took part in robotic coding competitions and presented their innovation project and robotic design to judges. All of their hard work paid off as they took home two trophies from the competition: The Fellow team award (for their expression of Core Values and Gracious Professionalism.) and the Robot Design Award (This team uses outstanding programming principles and solid engineering practices to develop a robot that is mechanically sound, durable, efficient, and highly capable of performing challenge missions.)
On Saturday 14th March, the school football team played at the regional football finals in Bristol - representing the whole of Cornwall. They worked hard, played well and embodied team spirit and sportsmanship throughout the tournament. The team drew 2 games and lost 1 in the group stages, so unfortunately didn’t make it to the national finals. We are all very proud of them.
