What A Fantastic First Week!
What a fantastic, busy, and successful week it has been across the entire school! From classrooms buzzing with enthusiastic group work to inspiring hands-on experiences, our children have been demonstrating remarkable focus, curiosity, and pride in everything they do. Here are a few highlights from the week:

Our newest pupils in Reception have had an extraordinary week! They are making incredible strides with their phonics, showing fantastic focus as they learn new sounds, practice blending, and build their early reading confidence. Watching their faces light up as they recognize new letters and sound out words has been a absolute joy. Keep up the amazing work, Class 1!
Class 4's Safety Visit to Bodmin Fire Station
Class 4's Safety Visit to Bodmin Fire Station
Last week, Class 4 took their learning beyond the classroom with a visit to Bodmin Fire Station. Working alongside our local emergency services, civil enforcement officers and Great Western Railway (GWR), the children gained crucial safety knowledge covering home fire precautions, emergency response, First Aid, Online safety/cyber protection and railway safety awareness. The station team, trainers and GWR staff were thoroughly impressed by Class 4’s thoughtful questions, knowledge, excellent behavior, and eager participation. Well done for representing our school so brilliantly!

Tonight: The Autumn Fair!
The wait is finally over! We are looking forward to seeing everyone at our Autumn Fair this evening. It promises to be a fantastic night full of fun games, stalls, and wonderful community spirit.
A huge THANK YOU goes to our incredible PTFA for their tireless hard work in organising and setting up this event, and to all of our school families for your generous support and donations. Events like this are only possible because of our amazing school community, and we appreciate every bit of help.
